Along with juggling my primary research i am now going to have to create my notes pages and the deadline set is for this friday but i would rather finish before then. we have been told that we can only take four sides of notes into the exam so i want to get as much on there without making it look like paragraphs and scruffy but i am probably going to use colour coding to help me search out my key words.

After a detailed discussion in class i have opted for a focus group for my primary research i was thinking about a questionaire but that would be too time consuming and not very reliable, so as part of my focus group i am going to select a limited group of people so i can remain in control. it probably wont be too long and i will keep my questions open to avoid biasness and get as much nfo as possible. I am going to spend this weekend looking for clips that will be approriate for my hypothesis.

i realised that maybe one review website wasnt enough so i also looked at VARIETY this is a smaller review website but just as effective, it also looks at the films from an inside looking outwards point of view so it trys to understand the film but also trys to highlight only the postive aspects of the film.So both early today and yesterday afternoon i spent my time analysing the reviews and summarised the discussions on hard copy and inserted it into my critical research folder, i have only got godfather remaining so i will use rotten tomatoes to review the film.

Popular criticism is the only chapter untouched so far so i am going to spend time on it. The first website i am going to look out is rotten tomatoes as this is a very good review website and is famous and well known, it brings both sides of arguments together for you to make your own conclusion. I am starting with outlaw as i believe i will have the least to talk about here so i am going to devote my attention to it.

I am currently watching certain clips of godfather so that i can link my research to it and highlight the aspects of media crime in the film which are glamorized the link to the film ishttp://missedashow.net/media/462/The_Godfather/ i am in particular looking at the opening scenes of the godfather.

i am doing my critical criticism and i have found the perfect book for both oulaws and greenstreet regarding the crime in both movies the bibliography:Kirsh,J. (2006) 'children,adolescents and media violence' sage, california.
The most useful of topic on theese books is sports and violence and its affiliations. so this topic refers to the fact that if there are two sets of people with different goals and ambitions then a cnflict occurs and there goals are incomputable with each other. This is just the book which i am currently going through and i am looking for one more that will help me in understanding the godfather.
